Patricia is a four-time Emmy award winner who documented her breast cancer journey in 2008 when she was diagnosed.  She videotaped her entire “dance with cancer”, as she calls it, including several surgeries and one year of chemotherapy, starting four hours after hearing the words, “you have cancer”. Patricia’s goal was to inform, support, educate and empower others who would walk the same path.  The one year of video footage led to a Discovery Channel documentary “The Cancer Dancer”, which aired in Latin America and the U.S. and a similarly titled book aimed at helping newly diagnosed women. Patricia formed a global support group for women cancer called the Link of Hope Sistas which is part of her health and wellness community, www.PositivelyPat.com
