Eligible faculty and staff members can attend an upcoming information session to learn more about Landed’s homebuying process and down-payment program.
Explore Landed, a new voluntary benefit for employees

This week, the University of Miami launched a new voluntary benefit to help employees purchase a home. Landed helps faculty and staff members buy houses by providing up to $120,000 toward a down payment through their shared equity down- payment program and by connecting employees to homebuying resources. Participation in the Landed benefit is completely voluntary.

Landed’s down-payment program is open to all University of Miami employees working 20 or more hours per week and is available immediately. Participants do not need to be first-time homebuyers, and there are no income or asset limits needed to qualify.

Any employees interested in purchasing a home by utilizing the resources offered by Landed or learning more about the homebuying process through Landed are encouraged to attend a virtual one-hour information session.

The purchase of a home is an important and consequential decision. We urge you to conduct your own research before purchasing and/or financing a home and/or considering the financing options offered by Landed. The University of Miami is informing its employees of the availability of this possible financing option; because home purchases and financing requirements are unique, the University of Miami expresses no opinion as to whether the Landed financing option is appropriate or best suited for any particular individual.
