Eligible faculty and staff members can earn Well ’Canes incentive points by scheduling and completing annual preventive exams. Visit a UHealth or Aetna provider before Oct. 31 and earn points while checking up on your health. Explore the opportunities below to earn points toward your $300 incentive.
Get started: Complete the wellness assessment and earn points.
Ensure you’re earning points from your preventive exams by completing your wellness assessment. If you’re new to the Well ’Canes Incentive Program, or you’re unsure of how to get started, read more about setting up an account and how to earn your first 250 points.
Schedule your physical or well-woman exam.
Visit with a UHealth or Aetna provider before Oct. 31 for your annual physical or well-woman exam and earn up to 200 points. Eligible faculty and staff members can earn additional points for colonoscopy and mammogram screenings.
Check your blood glucose and cholesterol.
At the beginning of the wellness assessment, consent to have your annual physical lab test results—completed at Quest or LabCorp—for hemoglobin A1C (blood glucose) and cholesterol transferred from Aetna to Cerner Wellness and earn up to 100 points.
Submit details from your UHealth labs biometric screening.
Earn up to 100 points by submitting results from lab work done at UHealth Labs. Results from your lab work must be printed or saved from MyUHealthChart.com and submitted through the “Enter Details’’ button in the Well ’Canes Incentive Portal or faxed to Cerner Wellness at 816-936-6395. Explore Aetna’s Programs.
Through a variety of virtual lifestyle programs—Aetna In Touch Care, Aetna Healthy Lifestyle Coaching Program, and Aetna Beginning Right Maternity Program—eligible faculty and staff members can earn up to 500 points per completed program. Each program can be completed by phone, no in-person visits are required.
Each of the aforementioned exams, submissions, and programs must be completed by Oct. 31 to qualify for the 2023 Well ’Canes Incentive Program. Points are credited 60 days after completion or submission.
