On Saturday, Feb. 25, more than 5,000 participants made history by turning out to ride, walk, run, or volunteer at the 13th annual Dolphins Challenge Cancer (DCC) event, which raised more than $10 million, so far, for Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Team Hurricanes represented a total of 144 teams united as one, including University of Miami employees, students, donors, and other proud members of the ’Canes family.

At the finish line, DCC participants and their family and friends attended a celebration at the Hard Rock Stadium, which included activities for everyone from face painting and bounce houses to massages. Participants can continue gathering contributions on their DCC XIII page until Tuesday, March 14, which is the deadline to reach individual fundraising goals.
