Students Celebrate the End of the Semester at ’Canes Carnival

A towering Ferris wheel, midway-style games, a challenging rock climbing wall, food trucks, and live music combined to make Hurricane Productions’ ’Canes Carnival 2015 a memorable event for the many University of Miami students who flocked to the Foote Green on Friday.

An annual tradition on UM’s Coral Gables campus, ’Canes Carnival is typically held on the last day of classes of the spring semester, providing students with a much-needed opportunity to de-stress before finals week. The fun and excitement started early and continued well into the night, culminating with a live concert. Mod3sto and Connor Cassidy performed as the opening acts to the featured concert by the electronic music duo Timeflies.
