Having just left Dadeland North and South, we move toward South Miami Station, which gives Metro riders access to great options for dining, shopping, entertainment, and more!
Most notable is the Shops at Sunset Place, an open-air outdoor shopping center that offers:
- An AMC movie theatre, newly renovated to include comfy recliners
- A Barnes & Noble, where you can pick up your favorite #BookTok reads
- Tea & Poets, a popular hangout spot and local poetry night joint

Finally, this Metro stop is great for groceries! There is a Winn-Dixie, a Whole Foods, and a Publix within a short distance. You can pick up your groceries and hop back on the Metro for one stop to reach University Station on campus.
