The University of Miami Alumni Association’s new mobile app—launched May 17—has been a huge hit, with more than 2,000 alumni downloading the app in just the first few hours following its release. The popular UM Alumni App is an interactive mobile environment that provides unique opportunities for UM alumni to engage and stay informed about news and events at the U.
The app brings enhanced connectivity—bridging ’Canes Communities, affinity groups, and campus partners together. The UM Alumni App provides a central, customized searchable directory, calendar of events, an interactive ’Canes Biz map and a digital alumni card.
Alumni will also find news about the U, ways to connect with friends, career tools, mentorship opportunities and campus discounts. The UM Alumni App is a powerful digital platform, and will grow into a tool for all ’Canes to build and increase their connection to their alma mater.
The UM Alumni App is available for download on Apple and Android devices. UM alumni can log in securely to the app with their unique University C-number, which allows access to the array of exciting features within the app.
