Dean Quelch speaks at 2nd Annual TTS Latin America Conference

Dean Quelch was a speaker at the 2nd Annual TTS Latin America Conference, hosted by the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Speaking on a panel addressing how to build a biotech innovation ecosystem, Professor Quelch described the 40 year evolution of Boston as one of the two most important biotech hubs in the world, home to major universities with seven teaching hospitals attracting massive NIH funding.

Quelch also stressed the $1 billion of venture capital invested annually in 100 plus deals and continuity of political leadership committed to building life services employment, now approaching 90,000 in the Boston metro area. Professors Joseph Ganitsky and Steve Ullmann also participated.
