Paving the way for women in STEM

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the University of Miami welcomed more than 200 high school students from across Miami-Dade for "Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day." Engaging in hands-on STEM activities, exploring the College of Engineering’s labs, and listening to insights from female industry experts were highlights for the high school girls. This nationwide celebration aims to ignite enthusiasm for engineering among young women, addressing the underrepresentation of females in these fields.
