Trio of Hurricanes Picked on Final Day of MLB Draft
University of Miami’s Jacob Burke, Jake Garland and Andrew Walters were taken on the third and final day of the 2022 MLB First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday. They joined third-rounder Carson Palmquist (Rockies), fourth-round selection Alex McFarlane (Phillies) and ninth-round choice Maxwell Romero Jr. (Nationals) as the six Hurricanes picked in the 2022 draft.
