Doctoral Music Student Anna Hersey Receives Fulbright Award
Anna Hersey, a doctoral student in vocal performance, has been named a Fulbright Scholar for the 2010-2011 academic year. She will use her award to study at the Kungliga Musikhögskola (Royal College of Music) in Stockholm, Sweden. While there, she will work closely with renowned pianist and coach Matti Hirvonen to further her research in the area of Swedish song repertoire and lyric diction, the topic of her DMA essay.
