With multiple programs now ranked in the top 50 nationally, this breakthrough sends a clear message: the University of Miami is gaining recognition across key disciplines in business education.

The newly ranked business specialties include:

  • No. 29 in information systems M.B.A. programs

Collectively, these rankings reflect a university building national momentum across the core fields that define modern business leadership.

This milestone follows the University of Miami’s rise to No. 39 in the full-time M.B.A. ranking, the highest position in school history, after a 36-place climb over three years, adding further evidence that the university’s momentum is accelerating.

“This is a breakthrough moment for the University of Miami,” said Paul A. Pavlou, dean of the Miami Herbert Business School. “For the first time, our excellence is being recognized nationally across all major business disciplines. This is more than symbolic. It is a watershed moment. It means the business school at the University of Miami is no longer simply rising. It is claiming its place among the nation’s best.”

The debut of the University of Miami in these specialty rankings reflects the growing strength of its academic programs, the increasing visibility of its faculty, and the success of a strategy centered on student career success, meaningful industry engagement, and research excellence.
