VITAS Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care, served as one of the executive sponsors. The company’s support provided 150 UM business students the ability to attend the conference at no cost. The students are part of the Health Sector Management and Policy (HSMP) Executive MBA program and HSMP Undergraduate program, among other health management degrees. The students personally thanked VITAS for providing them the opportunity to participate in the conference and hear from a variety of relevant topics including the implications of widespread changes to the U.S. healthcare system on business and government.
