Frost School of Music is proud to be featured, once again, on Billboard’s list of Top Music Business Schools. The article highlights “the students of the nation’s top music business schools... and where they study.”

“The Frost School’s fall-semester class Topics in Music Business will examine such industry developments as Spotify’s recent initial public offering, Facebook’s interaction with the music business and the Music Modernization Act pending in Congress,” quotes Billboard. "In March, the music business/entertainment industries program and the student-run Music Industry Association hosted the annual Southeast Sound: Music Business Conference with representatives from Warner Music Group, The Recording Academy, the Country Music Association and United Talent Agency.”

“We are honored to be named, again, to the Billboard Top Music Business Schools list. Being included reflects the strong reputation of the program, which has been built up over many years by successful alumni,” quotes Frost School’s Associate Professor, Chair of the Music Media & Industry Department, and Director of the Music Business & Entertainment Industries Program, Serona Elton.
