In recognition of outstanding teaching, service, and research, Rosenstiel School faculty were among the 120 University faculty members and leaders celebrated at the 2023 Provost’s Awards on April 28. Composed of three categories—Research Awards, Teaching Awards, and Awards for Faculty Excellence and Impact—each category focuses on outstanding achievement and impact. Hosted at Lakeside Village Expo Center on the Coral Gables campus, the event provided the opportunity for members of the University community to gather to honor their colleagues.

“There are many dimensions that are essential to our work as faculty members,” said Jeffrey Duerk, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost. “Together our faculty members work to push the boundaries in their discipline, generate new discoveries, theories, and insights that can change the world. From teaching innovation to creative or artistic works and research, to mentorship and service, it’s important to celebrate the incredible impact our faculty’s work has on our students, within the University community and beyond.”
