Ehsan Sheikholharam has been notified by the Wessex Institute of Technology that his paper “Architecture as Symbolic Reverence for Nature” has been selected for presentation and publication at the Eco-Architecture 2014 conference in Siena, Italy this September – the second time this year he has received such a prestigious opportunity. Last December, he traveled to Malaysia to present a paper on “Tension and Urban Sustainability: Case Study – The Metropolis of Mashhad, Iran” at the “Sustainable City 2013” conference.
This year, Ehsan’s subject is “Architecture as Symbolic Reverence for Nature. Comparative Case Study: Seed Cathedral, 21st Century – Pigeons’ Monastery 16th Century.” As explained in the Eco-Architecture call for papers, the term implies a new approach to the design process intended to harmonize its products with nature.
