The number of networked devices will, by some forecasts, exceed 75 billion by 2025. Technology has become deeply integrated in virtually every aspect of our lives—yet with the benefits come the hazards. Cybercrime is the fastest-growing type of crime in the country, and as attacks get bigger and more sophisticated, organizations and individuals need to become cybersmart to conduct their online activities safely.

That’s the focus of Cybersecurity: Incident Response and Decision Making, a massive open online course (MOOC), presented by the University of Miami Alumni Association in partnership with the University’s Division of Continuing and International Education. This complimentary course provides participants with an overview of cybersecurity, including how to identify vulnerabilities, avoid being targeted, and respond to cyber incidents quickly and effectively.

The cybersecurity MOOC is self-paced with instructor-led recorded lectures and includes notes, discussion, and industry resources. Upon completion you receive a certificate that you can add to your resume and online career profiles.
