Canes Communities across the country and overseas celebrated the University's Centennial in April.

In more than 40 cities across the U.S. and beyond, something powerful is happening: Canes are coming together in record numbers to celebrate, connect, and give back. From cheering on the team during football and basketball watch parties, giving back on Canes Day of Service, toasting the University’s first 100 years, or leveling up your career through professional networking events, Canes Communities are where connections spark, grow, and endure.

Whether you are a new graduate just getting started, a mid-career professional looking to strengthen your network, or a retiree eager to stay active, there is something in your local Canes Community for you.

At the heart of each community are passionate alumni volunteers, working together to create programming that’s purposeful and engaging—from ski trips and comedy nights to panel discussions and service projects. Events follow the C.A.N.E.S. model—Community, Ambassador, Networking, Education, and Support—ensuring there's something for everyone, at every stage of life.

The University's alumni engagement team supports regional leadership teams every step of the way, providing volunteer training, tools, and ongoing support.

As we look ahead to another year of enriching programming and impact, there’s never a been a better time to get involved. Love meeting new people and building relationships? Planning meaningful and fun events? Amplifying the University’s message via social media? Then, find your Canes Community and help us write the next chapter—together.
