According to their website, the “biennial Young Scholar Program brings together some of the most promising scholars in marketing and closely related fields whose recent work suggests they are potential leaders of the “next generation” of marketing academics.”
“Dr. Chen’s selection into the 2019 class of Young Scholars by MSI recognizes her potential as one of the leaders of the next generation of marketing academics,” said. Dr. Michael Tsiros, chair of the department of marketing.
Two MBS alumni were also recognized as 2019 MSI Young Scholars: Dr. Eva Buechel, who currently works at the University of Southern California, and Dr. Anthony Salerno, who currently works at the University of Cincinnati.
We look forward to seeing what else Dr. Chen and our former Ph.D. students accomplish in the marketing field.
"I’m honored to be recognized by MSI as a Young Scholar and to join the list of past recipients whom I’ve long admired. This would not have been possible without the continued support of the MBS family. Digital has fundamentally changed marketing and I look forward to further exploring how consumers make decisions in online environments," said Dr. Chen.
