Welcome 2017 Maytag Fellows

Congratulations to our 2017 Maytag Fellows!
Welcome 2017 Maytag Fellows

The Graduate School is pleased to welcome the three doctoral students who were awarded a Maytag Fellowship.

  • Morgan Gianola, Psychology
  • Damian Hernandez, Biology
  • Hannah Radabaugh, Programs in the Biomedical Sciences

The Maytag Fellowship, funded by an endowment from the Robert E. Maytag estate, is one of the highest awards offered by the Graduate School.  Maytag Fellowships are renewable one-year fellowships, where the Fellow is free to select which three years to be supported by the Fellowship.

Each Ph.D. program may nominate up to three incoming first year-students for Maytag Fellowships who are in any of the following programs: biochemistry and molecular biology, biology, chemistry, physiology and biophysics, marine biology, molecular cell and developmental biology, marine and atmospheric chemistry, or psychology.

Congratulations to our 2017 Maytag Fellows!
