The UM Fellowship provides recipients with two years of support and is one of the highest awards offered by the Graduate School. Each Ph.D. program may nominate up to three students for UM Fellowships. Nominees must be incoming first-year Ph.D. students in the areas of biological sciences, arts and humanities, physical sciences and social, behavioral & administrative sciences.
