With more than 2 million members, including honoraries like Desmond Tutu, Elie Wiesel, and Bill Clinton, Golden Key carries a legacy of achievement. Members are a community with linkages to widely respected individuals and ideals … all part of the continuum of excellence. Golden Key offers its members opportunities and connections through scholarships and awards, partnerships with major corporations, career advancement, and graduate programs. The Society also works with university faculty and administrators to develop and maintain the highest standards of education in the world.

David’s nomination from Victoria Diceglio reads as follows:

“David Chun embodies the true qualities of a Golden Key Honorary Member. Through his teachings in Business Technology, support as the UNICEF advisor, and life coaching as my mentor, I have grown into an experienced young professional and learned abundant knowledge about my skill set. David supports his students on an extremely personal level - attribute students look for and deeply appreciate in professors. He devotes ample time and effort to help students define their paths for success while encouraging them to overcome obstacles. He is brilliantly intelligent in his field, serving as the Director and Assistant Dean of Information Technology and as a distinguished Business Technology Professor at the University of Miami. I had the privilege of taking his BTE210 course sophomore year where I worked on tedious group projects and expanded my knowledge in the field of technology. I now am honored to call him my one and only true mentor as I embark upon my senior year and discover my passions for post-grad life. Through David’s service to the university and to his students, it is evident that he is completely dedicated to furthering the education and welfare of student life, both in and outside of the classroom. I would be honored to initiate him into our prestigious Golden Key chapter as an honorary member.”

Congratulations, David, on this well-deserved recognition in service to our students!
