Invited as members of the Evidence in Action: Culture of Health Delegation, School of Architecture Professor Joanna Lombard, and Miller School of Medicine Research Associate Professor Scott Brown, just returned from the One Water Summit 2018 in Twin Cities, Minnesota. Participating in the session, Building a Culture of Health through Innovative Water Programs and Policies, led by RWJF Evidence for Action, Deputy Director Erin Hagan, as well as multiple sessions throughout the 3-day Summit, Prof. Lombard described the Summit as “an amazing assembly of incredibly informed and focused representatives of diverse backgrounds, locations and professional interests, engaged in significant and inspiring work.” She highlighted several notable projects ranging from impact analysis (Bruce Tonn, Three3 in energy cost savings, household budgets and health impacts and Bruce Link in water policy and health), to water equity, green infrastructure, the linkage of art, culture, health and water (James Temte, National Tribal Water Center), and the work of Kristopher Smith, alumnus of UM’s Knight Program In Community Building, and currently Senior Fellow at the  Foundation for the Mid South in Jackson, Mississippi.
