Designed for owners Mark and Kate Ingraham, the 'Thatch House' was featured on the cover of this month's issue of dwell! (Article by Kelly Vencill Sanchez. Photographs by Pippa Drummond.) Located on Eleuthera's wild Atlantic coastline on a cliff overlooking a private beach, this 700 sf outpost is eco-resort and surf camp. Inspired by the experimental Hatch House (Jack Hall, 1960) on Cape Cod’s Natural SeaShore, the project is a combination of volumes and outdoor decks that were designed to dissolve within the landscape.
