Dean el-Khoury, Professors Penabad, and Cure joined Enrique Peñalosa, Mayor of Bogota in a meeting at Alcaldia Mayor de Bogota with leading Colombian architects and planners to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the contemporary city. The event kicked off with Dean el-Khoury who shared his experience with smart cities and observations about their future potential. Profs. Penabad and Cure presented some of their urban projects in Latin America to the group, following Mayor Peñalosa who eloquently outlined his transformative vision of Bogota.
