The University of Miami’s online programs offers a variety of scholarships to applicable students. UOnline encourages all students to determine if they are eligible during the application process as all applicants may be eligible for one or more scholarships (only one scholarship can be applied to tuition assistance). Potential scholarship opportunities include:
Merit-Based Scholarship
UOnline’s merit-based scholarships are based on GPA, post-bachelor educational or professional, and/or high GMAT/GRE scores. Each program offers merit-based scholarships at varying amounts:
MBA: up to 25% of tuition costs
MS in Finance: up to 30% of tuition costs
Master of Professional Accounting: up to 30% of tuition costs
MSED in Sport Administration: up to 35% of tuition costs
Inaugural Scholarship
Both the Master of Public Administration and Master of Health Informatics offers students a 45% tuition scholarship as an inaugural student within each program.
Master of Public Administration: 45% of tuition costs
MS in Health Informatics: 45% of tuition costs
Military Scholarship
All active-duty U.S military and veterans qualify for a military scholarship. This scholarship can be used in addition to other tuition assistance programs such as the yellow ribbon program.
UM Alumni Scholarship
Students who successfully completed their undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Miami qualify for the UM Alumni scholarship. This scholarship offers the highest amount of tuition assistance available to students.
UM Employee Scholarship
All University of Miami employees are eligible for UOnline’s UM employee scholarship in addition to other tuition assistance programs available to the University of Miami employees.
