Summer Scholars Program offers high schoolers a “crash course” in college life

As participants in the University’s Summer Scholars Program, the students took classes with University professors, participated in college prep courses, and even got to explore South Florida on the weekends with field trips to South Beach, Wynwood, and the Everglades.

It was the largest cohort of students in the program’s history, and it was documented by a team of photographers and videographers from the Division of University Communications, who visited classes in forensics, public health, and tropical marine biology.
