SCORE magazine is the official alumni publication of the Phillip and Patricia Frost School of Music. It is published once a year in the spring to highlight the achievements of our faculty, alumni, guest artists and students.
The 2012 edition includes an informative article about new music education research conducted by Associate Professor Carlos Abril, spotlight features on guest artists Gunther Schuller and Dave Holland and others, and a Q&A with trumpet masters Craig Morris, Brian Lynch, Terence Blanchard and Dave Douglas. The 2012 edition of SCORE also includes a record number of alumni class notes, and articles highlighting the accomplishments of composer/distinguished alumnus Douglas Cuomo, Associate Professor Lansing McLoskey and music engineering faculty Joe Abbati.
