KW Property Management & Consulting (KWPMC), a premier residential property management company, has promoted a graduate of the University of Miami’s Green Professional Building Skills Training (GPRO). Zuly Maribona, now Senior Vice President, has been instrumental to KWPMC’s growth in the region for the past 11 years.

Previously, Maribona was Regional Vice President for KWPMC, overseeing nearly 20,000 units in luxury lifestyle communities and high-rise condominium buildings in Collier, Lee, and Hendry counties. Completing the GPRO Certificate Program prepared Maribona to incorporate sustainable and resilient practices in her new role leading expansion efforts in Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.

“I am excited to take on these additional responsibilities and grateful to KWPMC’s leadership for the opportunity,” Maribona said. “Our core values and operating mission to provide the highest quality management services have not changed since the beginning of the company. It is easy to be loyal to a company that is loyal to its people.”

In addition to recently completing the GPRO Certificate Program on the University of Miami's Coral Gables campus, Maribona holds active LCAM and CMCA certifications. She also has a Florida Mortgage Broker’s License. Graduates of the GPRO Certificate Program can receive 12 continuing education credits (CEUs) that are accepted by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI)

Customized for South Florida’s specific climate and regional needs, and developed for professionals who build, renovate, or maintain high-rise commercial and multi-family residential building, the Green Professional Building Skills (GPRO) Certificate Program is the only authorized program of its kind in the state of Florida.

GPRO training and credentialing were developed by the Urban Green Council, an affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council, which reviews projects around the world for LEED certification. Miami-Dade County’s Office of Resilience, part of the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources, was a crucial collaborator in designing the GPRO Certificate Program.

Tuition for the GPRO certificate program is $1,995, with an additional $195 for course materials and the certification exam fee. Professionals can register for the program online.

Custom training for organizations and discounted tuition waivers are available for large groups.
