The Fifth Annual University of Miami Three Minute Thesis Competition will take place on February 4, 2021, and will be our first-ever 3MT® Competition to be webcast live, accessible from anywhere in the world. The competition will be a fully virtual format, where both the audience and competitors will be able to tune-in to the live webcast.

A total of 10 courageous students have taken on the challenge of competing in the 2021 Three Minute Thesis Competition, where they will present their thesis or dissertation research in only 3 minutes, using just a single PowerPoint slide. 

This unique opportunity helps students strengthen academic and presentation skills while promoting cross-departmental connections and interdisciplinary work. The winners will receive a monetary prize.
