Connecting Students with Health Care Jobs

On November 13, the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies co-hosted a Health Care Career Fair with the University’s Toppel Career Center. Toppel’s representative was Marissa Ocasio. “The Health Care Career Fair held in the School of Nursing and Health Studies building brought together local businesses and health care employers to meet with students pursuing careers in the health care field,” explained Pamela Salemi, associate director of Cane Navigation in the school’s Office of Student Services. “This event provided a platform for students to explore job opportunities, network with potential employers, and gain valuable insights into various health care professions. Local businesses and health care employers had the chance to recruit top talent and engage with eager candidates passionate about building a career in the health industry.”
