Get behind the lens with University of Miami students and their professor as they capture striking architecture in Miami and beyond.
Architectural Photography professor reviews student's work in-camera.

Many of the world's most famous images are of striking architecture around the globe. Think India's Taj Mahal, France's Palace of Versailles, Rome's Colosseum, and Sydney's Opera House to name a few. When we think of these structures, specific images come to mind - thanks to architectural photographers who made them famous.

These artists use their lenses to capture a specific perspective of the architecture that surrounds us. Students in Professor Steven Brooks' class get to absorb his wealth of knowledge and industry experience while capturing images of structures that speak to them.

Whether students find themselves wandering the quiet Art Deco neighborhoods of Miami Beach, the buzzing Miami International Airport, or exploring architecture while studying abroad in Rome, the lessons learned in Professor Brooks' class offer a pathway to architectural photography as a passion and even a career.
