We know it’s hard to believe, but professors have whole lives outside of the classroom (wild, right?!). We sat down with some professors to give you a glimpse of the human behind the title and the syllabus. It turns out they have favorite foods and pets and hobbies, too. Professors… they’re just like us!

I love to exercise (yoga in particular) to recharge.
What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

What is the most exciting thing happening in your field right now?
There are lots of interesting studies on the ways in which healthcare markets can fail and what can (and cannot) be done about that through health policy; we discuss these and other issues in my Health Economics course.
How do you recharge?
Traveling and playing board games; naps are always good too!
What is the most unusual food you have eaten?
Although it isn't unusual in Argentina (where I'm from), I'd say sweetbread. Look it up! It's neither sweet nor bread; the name in English always cracks me up.
