University of Miami Board of Trustees chair Hilarie Bass opened the conference, which featured keynote presentations by Atomic Machines co-founder Jeff Holden on the Future of Transportation, Nanotronics CEO Matthew Putnam on The Future of Manufacturing and Tezos founder Arthur Breitman on The Future of Money.
A panel on the Future of Family Business featured UM Trustee Paul DiMare, as well as Miami Herbert alumnus Jeff Brown, president of NFI Industries. The summit concluded with a panel on the Future of the University moderated by Miami Herbert Dean John Quelch with President Julio Frenk and Singularity University co-founder Salim Ismail.
