Faculty members help design first physical therapy guidelines for osteoporosis
Gregory Hartley, assistant professor of clinical physical therapy at the Miller School of Medicine, is one of the lead authors of the osteoporosis guidelines for physical therapists. Along with co-author Kathryn Roach, professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, they aided in the development of standards to provide physical therapists better exercise-based tools to help their patients prevent or manage osteoporosis.
