Researchers at the Miller School of Medicine have evidence that shows that the epidemiological paradox may not exist at all. “We have this incredible new database with the All of Us Research Program, and we wanted to prove, once and for all, that the paradox exists. But the evidence showed the opposite,” said Olveen Carrasquillo, chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine and senior author on the study.
