Graduate Student Travel Scholarship Deadline for Spring and Summer travel: March 15!

The Graduate Student Travel Scholarship is a supplemental funding opportunity offered by the Graduate School to support the professional development of outstanding students who wish to attend or present their research at a scholarly conference or professional meeting.

Degree-seeking master's and doctoral students at the University of Miami are eligible to apply for a one-time travel scholarship of an amount up to $1,000 to present at a scholarly conference or to present and/or attend a professional meeting. Preference is given to students who are presenting.

The Graduate School provides three opportunities per calendar year for graduate students to apply for a travel scholarship:

  • March 15 Deadline: For travel dates between April 15 and August 15
  • July 15 Deadline: For travel dates between August 15 and December 15
  • November 15 Deadline: For travel dates between December 15 and April 15
