Each year, the Ruth Shack Community Leadership Award is presented to an emerging leader who embodies the qualities for which Ms. Shack is known: ethics, dedication and service to Greater Miami. With this award, The Miami Foundation and Leave A Legacy seek to encourage further work on the part of the recipient and hope to motivate others to follow the recipient's lead in service.
