In her new position, Mahone will be responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of leadership gifts to the School of Law and will work closely with the Law Alumni leadership to strengthen the national network. She will provide strategy, leadership, and implementation of the school's fundraising activities and enhance relationships and communication with internal and external constituencies.

Mahone is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and a member of Dream Makers Youth Foundation. She also is the Diversity Committee Chair and Diversity Mentor for the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She received her M.B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida and Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Information Sciences from the University of Florida.
