Jillianne Pierce, 2L, Ryan Propis, 3L and Albert Medina, 2L, attended as executive board members of the International Law Society (ILS) student organization.
"This conference enabled us to be in very close proximity with people who are the word's foremost experts in the International law," said Peirce, ILS secretary.
In the coming weeks, ILS students will prepare a presentation for the law school community summarizing job resources, suggestions and important topics every student should know if they want to pursue a career in this field.
"It was pretty surreal to hear from people who are at the top of the field that you're interested in," said Propis, ILS vice president. He recalled how he had the chance to listen to discussions about current issues from prominent officials, such as the legal advisor to the U.S. Department of State and the president of the International Criminal Court. "It was a great opportunity."
