New Lawyers, Beaming, Take Oath of Admission to Florida Bar

The students, at the behest of Justice R. Fred Lewis of the Florida Supreme Court, a fellow alumnus, stood on stage and faced their families and friends in the audience to take the oath. At its conclusion, applause thundered through the auditorium.

As they left the stage, Justice Lewis happily shook almost every new lawyer's hand, and exhorted them, among other things, to go out and change the world, and to be a credit "to this great university."
