The Entertainment and Sports Law Society hosted its first Entertainment and Sports Law Symposium in 1997. Since then, the Symposium has grown into a full-scale event where law students and professionals take part in a forum to discuss current legal issues in sports, entertainment, intellectual property, the arts, and the media. The Symposium offers our students a venue to meet and network with professionals working in the types of careers they would like to pursue and serves as an invaluable opportunity for alumni and local firms to connect with aspiring attorneys and agents.
General admission is $150. University of Miami students with ID will be asked to pay $30 to attend, and non-UM students and Young Alumni will be charged $40. A total of 6.0 Florida CLE Credits, including 1 in ethics, are pending approval from the Florida Bar.
