Professor Markus Wagner Gives Lecture at Martin Luther University in Germany

The Institute of Economic Law at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg invited Professor Markus Wagner to give a lecture titled “Convergence and Divergence in International Trade and Investment Law.” The lecture is based on a larger research project carried out by Professor Wagner on the interaction between these two fields of international economic law. One article – Regulatory Space in International Trade Law and International Investment Law – was recently published and another – titled “Investment Law’s Uruguay Moment” – is forthcoming. Professor Wagner teaches and writes in the areas of international law, constitutional law and comparative law. His recent scholarship has focused on the development of autonomous weaponry and its compatibility with international humanitarian law and various aspects of international economic law.
