Clinical Professor Rebecca Sharpless, Director of the Immigration Clinic, was recently elected to the Board of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, South Florida Chapter and also spoke at AILA’s annual conference in National Harbor, Maryland. AILA is the country’s leading bar association of immigration lawyers. Professor Sharpless researches and writes in the areas of progressive lawyering, feminist theory, and the intersection of immigration and criminal law.
