Craig Trocino, Associate Director of Miami Law’s Innocence Clinic, was recently interviewed by NPR regarding the United States Supreme Court ruling in Hurst v. Florida which found Florida’s death penalty sentencing unconstitutional. He was also quoted in a Daily Business Review article on the same topic. Trocino is an experienced AV rated appellate litigator having been counsel of record on more than 200 direct appeals and extraordinary writs. He served as the co-director of the Florida Innocence Project and has taught classes in post-conviction litigation and federal sentencing. His areas of expertise are in appellate practice and post-conviction litigation.
