Professor Markus Wagner Elected as Secretary of the Society of International Economic Law

Professor Markus Wagner was elected as Secretary of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL). SIEL is a global organization aimed at academics and practitioners in all areas of international economic law, including international trade law, international investment law, international finance law and development. He has previously served on SIEL's Executive Council for three years and will now serve as Secretary for a three-year term. Professor Wagner teaches and writes in the areas of international law, international economic law, constitutional law and comparative law. His recent scholarship has focused on the development of autonomous weaponry and its compatibility with international humanitarian law and various aspects of international economic law.
