The day-long training, “Creative Strategies in Immigration Court and Litigation,” grew out of a partnership with Miami Law’s Immigration Clinic and the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild. “We highly value our partnership with the University of Miami School of Law’s Immigration Clinic,” said Trina Realmutto, Litigation Director of the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild and CLE organizer. “Such collaborations play a vital role in the continuing education of lawyers."
The speakers came from prominent law schools and advocacy groups across the nation to participate in panel discussions and practical topics on improving oral advocacy and brief writing skills.
“The mission of the Clinic includes bringing immigration law trainings of the very highest caliber to Miami,” said Immigration Clinic Director Rebecca Sharpless. “I am thrilled to have so many top notch lawyers and academics share their expertise with practitioners and our law school community.”
