The Institutional Deputy General Secretary of the Center for Arbitration and Mediation, Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada will present a lecture at the University of Miami School of Law in D201 on November 8, 2017, 12:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. on arbitration in Latin America.
Caroline Costa acted as secretary of arbitration procedures at CAM-CCBC and has extensive experience in the administration and monitoring of complex, national and international arbitration procedures. She is a member of the CMA-IE list of arbitrators, where she worked as technical coordinator of arbitration procedures related to major engineering works. She teaches in the IMAB arbitration course and lectures on arbitration in Brazil and Latin America. She coordinates the major events of the CAM-CCBC in Latin America with focus on straightening the relationship between countries and gives lectures in Latin America countries.
The lecture, sponsored by Miami Law and its International Arbitration Institute, will be moderated by the institute’s director, Marike Paulsson. Paulsson is a former counsel at Hanotiau & van den Berg in Brussels, Belgium. She has authored numerous publications on international arbitration and the 1958 New York Convention.
