Professor Elizabeth Iglesias will be participating in a conference on Defending Human Rights, sponsored by The Florida Bar International Law Section Standing Committee on Public International Law, Human Rights and Global Justice. Professor Iglesias will be giving the welcoming and closing remarks. The conference will be held on April 19 at the Newman Alumni Center on the University of Miami campus. Professor Iglesias teaches courses in Constitutional Law, International Criminal Law, International Economic Law, Law and Political Economy and has published extensively in the fields of Critical Race Theory, Critical Race Feminism, and LatCit Theory.
