Joint degree student Goel Damkani, who is working on his J.D./LL.M. in international arbitration and who completed his undergrad and legal education in Israel, won the Federal Bar Association (FBA)’s inaugural Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Law Student Scholarship ($1,000). The is awarded to a law student who has demonstrated a commitment to the field of ADR and who intends to incorporate ADR into their practice post-graduation.
The FBA approved for Miami Law to re-publish the interview which is on pages 2-5 in an article that was originally published in the FBA’s ADR Section newsletter called "Resolver." In the interview of Goel by Judge Thomas Vanaskie, former chief justice of the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Goel speaks highly of the Miami Law's White & Case International Arbitration LL.M. program, the joint degree program, and Miami Law's International Moot Court Program.
